UAE ICA issued a six-month validity visa to help complete the Golden Visa procedures for long-duration residency. This visa can be stretched for an additional six months. The thing to be noted here is that the multiple-entry visa can be used only for the completion of Golden Visa procedures.
Golden Visa is a 10-year validity visa for exceptional candidates. The Gold Card is removed from the rule of not being able to stay outside for six months. Around 400 ex-pats already received the Gold card and around 6800 qualified individuals are eligible for the application. This would come around AED 100 billion investments by ex-pats.
The visa application fee is Dh1,150. This consists of Dh1,000 as issue fee; Dh28 for e-services fee, request fee of Dh100; and a fee of Dh22 for ICA.
A description of the application procedure is listed on the ICA portal. Required procedure details can also be obtained from other means such as call centers, smart apps, websites, etc.
The applicants will be intimated about the missing data or documents. The resubmission should be within 30 days, or else the application will be rejected. The rejection can also take place if it is returned thrice requesting data and documents. Issuance fee refund will be initiated only after proper rejection by ICA.
