Rahul R is a Junior Associate at ATB Legal, specialising in intellectual property rights with a focus on patent drafting, prior art search, patentability assessment, and enforcement strategies. His current practice bridges technical innovation with legal protection, assisting clients in navigating the complexities of patent applications, prosecution, and licensing, both in the UAE and India.

Before joining ATB Legal, Rahul gained over four years of management experience and more than a year of litigation exposure, working on a range of techno-legal matters. He has conducted numerous patent searches, advised on patent licensing strategies, and provided technical-legal analysis to support innovation-focused businesses. His dual expertise in engineering and law enables him to deliver precise, practical, and commercially relevant IP solutions.

Rahul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and an LL.B. degree. He is a registered Indian Patent Agent accredited by the Indian Patent Office, combining strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for technology and innovation.
