Partnership
A partnership is a business structure where two or more parties share ownership, profits, and liabilities. In the UAE, partnerships are regulated under Federal Decree-Law No. 32 of 2021 on Commercial Companies, with various types, including general partnerships, limited partnerships, and joint ventures. General partnerships are restricted to UAE nationals, while foreign investors can participate in limited partnerships, provided they do not have unlimited liability. Partnerships in DIFC and ADGM follow common law principles, offering flexibility for international investors looking to establish joint businesses.
