Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) in its mission to simplifying litigation procedures and facilitating access of Justice to everyone has adopted 25 new forms in both Arabic and English. The ADJD aims to break the language barrier for litigants (residents and non-residents) and to simplify the procedures resulting in transparent litigation.

ADJD has already adopted English as second language in number of commercial court procedures. The new forms include templates for settlement or reconciliation agreements between the disputing parties and for minutes of session.
The new initiative will strengthen the remote litigation system as the new forms are paperless, online editable with the option of affixing digital signature. Litigants may note that most of the services are now available online and the users can log in to Court’s e-services using UAE Pass. During these unprecedented times of COVID -19 the new initiative is a great relief for both litigants and lawyers to curb the pandemic.
